Jordan Older is an American soccer player, and one of the first American-born players to play professional soccer in Europe and Brazil - Campeonato Brasileiro & Campeonato Paulista. He started his profession career with FC Wängi of Switzerland and has played with Paulista Futebol Clube, União São João EC, and AA Portuguesa Santista. He has also played with the United States National Soccer Team, in Germany, and in the USL with the Valley Golden Eagles and San Diego Gauchos.
Jordan Older is an American soccer player who became the first American to join a team in Brazil’s oldest top flight professional soccer league, the Campeonato Paulista Série A1, in 1994 with União São João Esporte Clube, as a full-time first team trainee for 4 Brazilian Paulista League clubs (Paulista FC-1994, União São João EC-1994, AA PortuguesaSantista-1998, and Campinas FC-1998.) In the same period União São João also competed in the top flight of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A. Jordan Older repeated the accomplishment again in 1998 when he joined the first team of AA Portuguesa on a full-time basis for the 1998 Campeonato Paulista Série A1, otherwise known as the Paulistão. In Brazil Jordan Older was also personally invited by Carlos Alberto Torres to join XV de Piracicaba and Santos FC by Pelé's mentor and physical trainer and original NASL NY Cosmos ex-coach/Santos FC technical director Júlio Mazzei as well as by other major Brazilian clubs including Guarani FC. Jordan Older is also one of the first Americans to play first team professional soccer in Europe playing as the starting center forward for FC Wängi in Switzerland in 1993 at age 20, becoming one of the first Americans to start and play in the early rounds of the Swiss Cup, perhaps being the more info first ever American in that competition. In 1993 Jordan Older was the youngest American footballer (soccer player) playing a starting role in Europe. Jordan Older has played soccer in Europe since age 15 and has played professionally in Europe, Brazil, and the United States and has traveled the world playing at the professional level on 3 continents and in 8 countries. Jordan Older was the first player in history to be digitally scanned in 3D by EA Sports for the popular FIFA video game and has starred in national and international soccer television commercials including Intel, Snickers, Reebok, Pioneer, Phillips, and Powerade. In December of 1994 Jordan Older was invited to, and participated in, the full senior US National Team training camp in December of 1994, by US National Team and USA World Cup Team head coach Bora Milutinovic in Mission Viejo, California.
